We forgot to take VERY beginning pictures but Joe had to frame everything but the place that you can see without insulation. Then he wired the room. He added plugs, lights, and cable.
He had to move water pipes, heating vents and lots of wires before he could put up the drywall. He put some ceiling pieces of drywall up by himself before I helped him out a bit. (he could have done it by himself but it made things a little bit easier when he didn't have to hold all of the weight plus put the screws in.
The drywall had to lay flat so we had a mess in our living room for about a week. Luckly we were so occupied with working on the room that we didn't really need our living room for anything.
Joe cutting the drywall. Buddy was always thinking that he could help out in some way or another!
On Saturday we did a prime and then we painted the walls. They are yellow. We wanted the room to be fun for kids plus we needed a bright color because there are no windows. I think the yellow looks good!
I don't know if you can see it but I had gone upstairs (my body was done with painting!) and Joe took this foam stuff and wrote I love Tiff Lots. He took a picture and sent it to me on my phone. It was pretty cute!! Who knows...maybe we were high on paint fumes!!
This is what we have accompished so far. I will take more when it is done! Just need to paint the ceiling, baseboards and doors and then carpet. Then I want to put vinyl dots on the walls so we will see how it turns out!! I am excited though!! It has turned out to be quite the "kids club" as my neice calls it!

Just the two of us!! I sure do love my cute Hubby!!
